Wholesale Executive Requirements

The work of a wholesale executive is manifold. He/she works in a wholesale agency or in a wholesale company. There are different kinds of administrative tasks in a wholesale concern that need to be processed on a continuous basis. This is done by the wholesale executive. Furthermore, he/she is also involved in implementing the marketing strategies of the company. The wholesale executive also has the responsibility to smartly market the merchandised products of various brands to the targeted customers for the purpose of increasing the revenue earnings for the company. In several situations, he/she has to work in a team.

Education requirements:

  • A high school diploma with good grades in any stream is a compulsory requirement.
  • An under-graduate degree in any stream from a reputed college or university is highly favorable in order to be seriously considered for the job.
  • The candidates with master’s degree in their profile would have an edge of being selected.
  • Certified training in wholesale merchandise-related projects from an accredited institute would be an added advantage.

Job requirements:

  • A minimum experience of 8 to 12 months in a reputed wholesale agency or a company at an executive position.
  • Must have excellent communication skills both in writing and speaking.
  • Should be of amiable nature.
  • Must be particular about documenting the day to day business activities centered on trading of merchandised goods.
  • Must be hard-working and meet deadlines diligently.
  • Should be a very good team player and able to follow instructions.
  • Must possess good marketing expertise.
