Wholesale Assistant Requirements

As the title of the job suggests, the wholesale assistant has the prime responsibility to support the wholesaler in marketing and selling the products to the targeted customers. The business activities in the wholesaling shops and retail outlets are variegated and the selling of the material goods is the major operation. The wholesale assistant also needs to document the transaction details and other relevant information involving the merchandise goods movement from the wholesaler to the customers on a day to day basis. He/she has to report to his/her immediate supervisor and is needed to often work in a team.

Education requirements:

  • A high school diploma with good grades in any stream from a renowned educational institute.
  • Although it is not quite mandatory to attain an under-graduate degree in management studies or merchandise trading in order to establish one’s self as an efficient wholesale assistant, yet a bachelor’s degree in such a field would sharpen one’s ability to flawless execute the given tasks in the profession.
  • Certified training in wholesale marketing and sales from an accredited institute would be an added advantage.

Job requirements:

  • A minimum experience of at least 8 to 12 months in a reputed wholesale agency as an executive assistant.
  • Must have excellent coordination skills as the work demands interacting with different kinds of parties.
  • Must be able to provide the customers with pertinent solutions regarding the products.
  • Should help in recording and monitoring the financial transactions of the wholesale goods.
  • Must oversee the stock situations at the store.
