As the title of the position suggests, the wholesale account manager focuses on the accounting strategies and related business calculations in a wholesale company of agency. The number of tasks that a wholesale account manager has to shoulder is variegated and often requires to accurately checking for the details of different transactions concerning the merchandise trading of the wholesale goods and managing of the fund flows. The wholesale account manager has to manage a team of subordinate account executives who help him/her in processing the various accounts related assignments. The profession requires one to record the activities on a regular basis.

Education requirements:

  • A high school diploma preferably in commerce stream from a reputed school with good grades.
  • An under-graduate degree in accountancy from a renowned college with decent grades would be desirable.
  • The interested applicants with master’s degree in accountancy would have an edge over other applicants.
  • Certified training in wholesale accountancy related assignments from an accredited institute would be an added advantage.

Job requirements:

  • A minimum experience of 2 to 3 years in a renowned wholesale agency or company in the accounts department.
  • The person needs to monitor the various invoices and the corporate documents related to the transactions involving wholesale merchandised goods.
  • Must check the details of the credit and debit situations of the company on a regular basis.
  • Should be able to formulate wholesale accounts related consolidation reports.
  • Must be dynamic in nature and should be possessing good coordination skills.
