Wholesale Account Executive Requirements

A wholesale account executive works in a wholesale agency or a company. The focus of his/her work is on maintaining the financial records of the company. The wholesale business involves lots of transactions with various parties on a regular basis. The representatives of the company interact with the manufacturers and the suppliers for running the business. The wholesale account executive has the principal function to organize the data regarding the various deals and invoices and flow of funds within the regulatory framework of the company. He/she needs to report to his/her immediate supervisor regarding the accounts related activities.

Education requirements:

  • A high school diploma from a reputed educational institute preferably in commerce stream with decent grades.
  • An under-graduate degree in accountancy or in a subject closely related to this field is mandatory.
  • The candidates with post graduate degree in accountancy would certainly be at an advantageous position.
  • Certified training from an accredited institute would be highly favored.

Job requirements:

  • A minimum experience of 12 to 15 months at an executive level in a renowned company.
  • Should be extremely accurate in maintain the accounting details of the wholesale transactions of the company and must update those on a regular basis.
  • Must think of measures to optimize the costs of the company and increase the influx of revenue earnings.
  • Should have good soft skills and coordinating abilities as the work needs interacting with different parties.
  • Should be very sincere, hard-working and must meet the deadlines of the assignments.
