Warehouse Operations Manager Requirements

The warehouse operations manager has got variegated tasks to perform. The principle of those is to manage the different kinds of operational activities that fall under the regulatory framework of the running of a warehouse. The warehouse operations manager has to oversee the intricate features of the facilities and check for any technical or administrative fault and if found any, recommend remedial measures. He/she has to manage a team of subordinate staffs in the warehouse. The inventory details and matters such as stock replacement and recording transaction dynamics are the other tasks of an efficient warehouse operations manager.

Education requirements:

  • A high school diploma in any stream from a reputed educational institute with decent grades.
  • An under-graduate degree in operational managements or in a subject closely related to this field is mandatory to be considered seriously for this job.
  • Certified training from an accredited institute in regards to learning skills through assignments based on fundamentals of operational management would be an added advantage for the interested applicant.

Job requirements:

  • A minimum experience of at least 2 to 3 years in an esteemed company in a supervisory role in the department dealing with warehouse operations.
  • The candidate must possess ample expertise to oversee the commercial activities of the warehouse including the documentation of the invoices and the other details of the transactions.
  • The candidate should have excellent coordination skills as the often the work demands handling of a team of subordinate executives.
  • Must provide administrative support to the department in matters of operational activities.
