Telecom Network Engineer Requirements

A telecom network engineer minds a host of tasks. The principal of those tasks includes planning of the telecom networks, implementing engineering strategies and suggesting for the maintenance and upgrading of the laid networks. The telecom network engineer has to essentially coordinate the members of the team he/she manages to perform field tests to check the performance of the installed equipments. The following points are indicators of the education and job requirements for the post.

Education requirements:

  • A bachelor’s in technology in telecommunication/mechanical/electronics engineering with a first class honors from a reputed institute.
  • A master’s in technology in telecommunication/mechanical/electronics engineering with a first class honors from a reputed institute.
  • Certified training in technical applications related to telecom sector.
  • Knowledge of software packages used in telecom networking assignments.

Job Requirements:

  • A minimum experience of 3 years in a reputed telecom firm.
  • Must have expertise to assess the requirements for the designing purposes and implement strategies for the building of network designs.
  • Should have an analytic mind as in certain cases rigorous handling of data is required.
  • Must be aware of the optimized policies in cases of installing equipments.
  • Should be a sincere team player with a dynamic approach towards thinking of innovative techniques of working.
