Telecom Administrator Requirements

A telecom administrator has a host of responsibilities to take care of. He/she has to, by all accounts; manage the various administrative processes of the company. The telecom administrator has to assimilate the ideas of the management and work on them to improve the efficiency of the departments. He/she needs to oversee the optimized application of the technical knowledge of the employees in the various sections of the company. The points mentioned below would indicate further about the education and job requirements for the post.

Education Requirements:

  • A bachelor’s in technology in telecommunication/computer/electronics engineering with a first class honors from a reputed institute.
  • A master’s in technology in telecommunication/computer/electronics engineering with a first class honors from a reputed institute is desirable.
  • Certified training in technical applications related to telecom sector.
  • Master’s in business administration is compulsory.

Job Requirements:

  • A minimum of 4 years of experience in the telecom sector.
  • Having expertise in the technical aspects of the telecom equipments – their installation and functioning.
  • Possessing excellent communication skills and is able to coordinate the staffs to deliver as a team.
  • Be able to perform and supervise field tests if required, and frame and implement policies for the company.
