Technical writer as the name goes, designs, writes and creates technical documentation for gadgets, and devices that are precisely technical in nature. These documents usually include user manuals, online help guides etc.  Students who are interested in making a career in technical writing should not only have good writing skills, but should have enough technical interest in electronic and semi electronic products and their functions.

Technical writer  Education Requirements

«     Candidates should have a good educational background and should have at least a high school certification degree.

«     Candidates should have some technical training or knowledge base that is strong in scientific subjects like chemistry, physics and other forms of applied science.

«     Candidates should have good knowledge about computer multimedia , because this is very important in adding audio , video and charts in the presentation for better understanding

«     Candidates having similar experience in some other company, in the same field will be given an added advantage.

Technical writer  Job Requirements:

«     Candidates applying for the job of a technical writer should have very strong writing and analytical skill to understand the purpose behind writing the description

«     Applicant should be well educated to handle people diplomatically and should have excellent skills in dealing and communicating with people and understanding their needs.

«     Candidates should be a keen listener and should listen to the needs of the clients and deliver accordingly

The job of a technical writer requires a person to have these qualities. Along with this he should be well read and technically sound in order to do justice to his job.
