Student Ambassador Requirements

A student ambassador, as the title of the position suggests, is an extremely important position shouldered by an efficient student of a college campus. The primary tasks of a student ambassador include advising the prospective students of the particular college regarding the various streams and available facilities. Furthermore, the student ambassador also participates in various education meets and education fairs on behalf of the college or the university. The job also demands a streamlined marketing of the educational institute in the student circle and performing few tasks concerning customer relations.

Education Requirements:

  • A high school diploma in any stream with decent records from an accredited educational institute is a compulsory credential.
  • Should be enrolled in a reputed college or university in any stream and must have good grades in his/her subject field and an acceptable character certificate.
  • Some training in working as a student representative at various education related official meetings and events would be of great benefit for the applicant.

Job Requirements:

  • The applicant must have excellent communication skills – both in writing and speaking, as the job requires interacting at length with the students and their guardians.
  • Must be having very good organizational skills in order to plan and implement various policies centered on educational conferences and job fairs.
  • Should be aware of the administrative matters of the particular educational institute and work within the regulatory framework of the college or the university.
  • Must be a regular participant at the workshops for training ambassadors.
  • Should be amiable in nature.
