Salesperson Requirements

The selling of the company goods and services is the main activity of the business to keep its functioning and develop at a brisk pace. The revenue earnings from the sales are generated by the operations of the sales and the marketing department. The salesperson is a part of this very important department and provide with the required assistance to the sales related operations. The salesperson needs to be very innovative at the time of putting into application the marketing and sales strategies as has been directed by the management. He or she is also required to record the day to day activities in this regards.

Education Requirements:

  • A high school diploma from a reputed educational institute in the science stream with good grades.
  • The candidate must have attained an undergraduate degree in the management stream or in any closely related subject from a decent college.
  • The applicants with a graduate in sales and marketing studies are seriously considered for the job.
  • Certified training in sales from an accredited body or institute is an added advantage in the candidate’s profile.

Job Requirements:

  • The interested applicants must have excellent communication skills, especially in speaking, as the job requires interacting with different kinds of people.
  • Must be able to coordinate with the fellow salespersons with the purpose of executing the sales strategies as a team.
  • Should be able to work overtime.
  • Must be punctual at work and sincerely follow the instructions.
  • Should document the sales activities on a regular basis.
