The primary functions of sales executive is to identify new markets for their products and sell it to new customers who can be individuals, wholesalers or shopkeepers. Often the sales executive does not sell the product, he visit his potential clients to advertise the product. It’s very apparent those sales executives are responsible for building new relationship’s which define the course of a company’s future. The sales executive is an important person and depending on his presentation skill and personality the company gains or losses business.

Sales Executive Educational Requirements:

v     Candidate should have a high school degree

v     Candidates with a marketing specialization in graduation or post graduation level will be preferred

v     Candidates with previous experience will be given special preference.

Sales Executive Job Requirements:

v     Applicant should have an outgoing, pleasing personality that can win the hearts of the clients and help him to close deals.

v     Applicant should be self – motivated and able to work with minimum supervision and guidance.

v     Applicant should have excellent planning ability, whereby he can predict the sales forecast of the company.

v     Applicant should incorporate innovative ways of selling a product whereby he can achieve his targets easily

The role of a sales executive is very vital for an organization. He is entrusted not only with the responsibility of generating new business, but should also be able to motivate and encourage other employees to work for the collective profit of the organization.
