A good restaurant is always a nice place to hang out with the near and dear ones. Spending a nice time with delicious food and a lovely ambience in a well maintained restaurant is genuine entertainment and a form of relaxation. A restaurant assistant manager is a support employee who reports to the manager. The concerned professional has the main responsibility to help the senior officials in all the departments to supervise the operational activities. On certain occasions, the restaurant assistant manager has to manage a team of employees at the restaurant to operate at various tasks simultaneously.

Education Requirements:

  • A high school degree in any stream with good records.
  • The candidate must be a graduate, preferably in restaurant/hotel management, or in a subject closely related to this field from a reputed college.
  • A post graduate degree in hotel management from a good university with decent grades is a huge bonus.
  • Associate degree or certificates in hotel or restaurant management courses is a big plus point in the candidate’s profile/
  • Certified training in projects centered on restaurant management from an accredited institute is appreciable.

Job Requirements:

  • Must be having excellent coordination skills
  • Should have a good grasp over the knowledge centered on logistics related matters of the restaurant.
  • Must be proficient in evaluating the performance of the subordinate staffs.
  • Must be possessing very good skills of documentation in order to record the day to day business activities at the restaurant.
  • Should be able to market the services of the restaurant.
