A physician is a doctor who diagnoses diseases, injuries and disorders. The job of a physician is to identify the disease and provide proper medication. Physician is responsible to spread awareness about diseases and promote the heath care programmes. A physician working as a general physician can be sent for heath care camps to areas around the hospital and nursing homes. Following are the requirements in terms of education and job for being a physician.

Physician Education Requirements:

  • Candidate should have passed his higher senior secondary in medical stream.
  • Applicant should be an M.B.B.S degree holder.
  • Candidate should have a degree in M.D from a renowned institution.
  • Applicant must have the experience of assisting a senior physician in a certified health care institution

Physician Job Requirement:

  • Candidate should be able to understand the medical history of a patient before starting the treatment.
  • Applicant should know proper way to handle panic patients and be capable of telling them the facts involved.
  • Contender must be able to keep an eye upon the work of assistants, workers and nurses.
  • A candidate should be capable of working in stressful situation and at odd hours.
  • A candidate should have good communication skills and should be sympathetic towards patients.
  • Candidate must have the knowledge of treatments, diagnosis and apparatus used in general physician department.

Thus, by considering all these aspects related to qualification and job, one can be an efficient physician.
