Pharmaceutical Project Manager Requirements

The pharmaceutical industry is fast growing in every corner of the world. The pharmaceutical project manager is the professional who is concerned about supervising the proceedings of projects and assignments in regards to the development of the pharmaceutical product and their marketing. He/she also has to shoulder the responsibility of managing the administrative tasks of the company. On most of the occasions the person has to lead a team of pharmaceutical executives focusing on the particular objectives of a project. Furthermore, the pharmaceutical manager has to regularly evaluate the performance of his/her subordinates. He/she also has to quantitatively and qualitatively assess the efficiency of the pharmaceutical products.

Education Requirements:

  • A high school degree in the science stream with decent grades with chemistry and biology as the main subjects.
  • An undergraduate degree in chemistry or biology from a reputed educational institute with good grades is compulsorily sought.
  • A graduate degree in chemistry or biochemistry from a well known college or university is definitely an added advantage to the applicant’s profile.
  • Certified training in pharmaceutical research assignments and projects from accredited institutes is a big plus.

Job Requirements:

  • A minimum experience of 18 to 24 months as a pharmaceutical project executive in a well known company or in a research institute.
  • Possessing ample expertise in streamlining the main features of the project and executing the required processes in a cost-effective manner.
  • Should have leadership qualities and nicely coordinate in between the team members.
  • Must be sincere and hard-working.
