PBX Installer Requirements

A PBX installer necessarily works for a public, private or joint partnership company. He/she has the responsibility to oversee and manage the PBX systems of the company, and if required, has to visit the customers’ or clients’ places to install or upgrade the PBX equipments. He/she needs to have a good grasp over the technical details of the PBX instruments and related systems. The points that are mentioned below can be useful to know in details about the education and job requirements of a PBX installer.

Education Requirements:

  • A high school degree in science stream with above average grades.
  • A bachelor’s of technology degree in electronics/instrumentation from a reputed institute with at least a second class honors.
  • Certified training in PBX installation is an added advantage.

Job Requirements:

  • The candidate should have experience in the industry.
  • Possessing a thorough knowledge about telephones, cables, switches and other related equipments.
  • Able to apply innovative techniques to fasten the process of PBX installation and increase its efficiency.
  • Should have ample of expertise to coordinate well with the fellow technicians and implement the assignments in an optimized manner.
  • Should be very particular about documenting the progress reports of the PBX installation processes.
