  • A person needs a diploma course in child care and education.
  • BTEC national diploma in children care, learning and development.
  • NVQ level 3 in children’s care, learning and development. This part of the education is usually taken under the work place so it will require the candidate to be employed at an appropriate place.
  • More advanced job profiles or advanced roles which require more training and internships at hospitals.
  • This position is usually done as a part time course and to gain a license through nursery nurse training through apprenticeship.
