National Security Advisor Requirements

A national security advisor has a very big responsibility to assess and recommend for improvements for each and every aspect of the networking system concerning the national security. He/she works for the national government and is in charge of making consultations with the security department in regards to the primary security issues of national interest. The person is also responsible for advising on integrating latest innovations to strengthen the security platform. Education Requirements:

  • A bachelor’s degree from a reputed institute in any of the social sciences/public administration with first class grades.
  • A master’s degree from a reputed institute in any of the social sciences/public administration with first class grades is highly desirable.
  • Certified training in security related assignments.

Job Requirements:

  • The candidate must have a minimum experience of 10 years as security personnel in the government sector (out of which at least 5 years in a senior position).
    • Must be having expertise in coordinating all the resources and advise on the respective roles to strengthen the security network system.
    • Must be aware of the latest technical applications in the security infrastructure.
    • He must have a technical bent of mind.
    • He should have good leadership qualities.
