Marketing coordinator is responsible for coordinating and initiating new projects, products development and marketing performance of products and services. Marketing coordinator has become an important part of all the organizations. Other function of a marketing coordinator is to take care of administrative work regarding marketing records and other communications and correspondence through proposals, business letters and contracts. Following are the education and job requirements for a person to be a marketing coordinator.

Marketing Coordinator Education Requirements:

  • Candidate should have completed Graduation in any stream and preferably in marketing.
  • Applicant with Post Graduation and M.B.A. in business and marketing is preferred over the others.
  • Contender with additional diploma or course in marketing, business strategies and coordination is preferred.

Marketing Coordinator Job Requirements:

  • Candidate should have fluent English along with knowledge about local language to communicate with local and international clients.
  • Applicant should have proper and accurate knowledge of preparing contract for initiating new business relations.
  • Contender should be well aware about the marketing terms and norms.
  • An applicant must have good communication skills.
  • The applicant must have knowledge about the existing marketing situations.
  • An applicant must have motivational skills so that other departments may agree to his decisions.
