A Manufacturing Production Supervisor monitors the manufacturing activities in a manufacturing plant. They need to do the manufacturing according to the instructions given by the engineering department. They improve the efficiency of the operations used in manufacturing plants to increase the productivity while maintaining the quality. He is the one who manage all the operations of product manufacturing. They have to keep up the time schedules, expense budgets, quality standards, cost goals and employee safety. This profile needs a lot of responsibility and credibility of the candidate. They also need to coordinate between the sales and purchase departments to manage the supply chain of the product cycle. They also need to solve the processing issues along with maintaining the safety environment to deliver the best quality of the product.

Educational Requirements

  • A bachelor’s degree in Engineering from a good institute is needed to become manufacturing production supervisor.
  • Deep interest and knowledge about quality control measures and techniques used in manufacturing must be known to him.
  • He must have in depth knowledge about all the technologies applied in manufacturing industry.
  • Six- Sigma certificates and training in manufacturing industry can do the value addition in the profile of the candidate.

Job Requirements

  • High-level ability in Microsoft Office suite and Statistical Six-Sigma examination along with analytical and problem solving skill is must.
  • The candidate has to make project plans in detail while maintaining the quality and keeping the process under the budget.
  • The candidate should be willing to work under high pressure and still create value for the organization by sorting out the technical issues.
  • The candidate has to coordinate the work amongst the different level in the organization.
  • He has to monitor the entire process to follow the schedule of the production cycle.
