The Manufacturing Process Engineers are professionals from the technical background who improve the efficiency of the operations used in manufacturing plants to increase the productivity while maintain the quality. He is the one who manage all the operations of product manufacturing. The satisfaction of the customer is the main focus of a manufacturing process engineer. This profile needs a lot of responsibility and credibility of the candidate. They also need to coordinate between the sales and purchase departments to manage the supply chain of the product cycle. He has to make sure that manufacturing process runs under the designed budget limits and for that he has to coordinate with senior management as well. They have to take care of overall process design and suggest measures for improvement of manufacturing, thereby increasing productivity and improving manufacturing costs.

Educational Requirements

  • A bachelor’s degree in Engineering from a good institute is needed to become manufacturing process engineer.
  • Deep interest and knowledge about quality control measures and techniques used in manufacturing must be known to him.
  • He must have in depth knowledge about all the technologies applied in manufacturing industry.
  • Management or administration degree along with manufacturing knowledge can give an edge to the candidate.

Job Requirements

  • The candidate should have 5 to 7 years of exhaustive experience in providing process engineering support to the operations team
  • Should have preferably worked on project development and control systems optimization assignments.
  • Prior experience in ensuring technical integrity and audit support for installations is needed.
  • The candidate must have good planning and processing skills.
