Maintenance Helper Requirements

As the name suggests, a maintenance helper is involved in working for a company in its maintenances section where it helps to maintain the performance of the equipments including the timely upgrading and/or installation of the machine parts etc. In order to provide a support base for the upkeep of a certain facility or a range of facilities, the importance of the maintenance helper is undeniable. He/she also coordinates with the other staffs in the maintenance department to stress on a particular project as a member of the team.

Education requirements:

  • The interested person must be a high school pass-out from a good educational institute in any stream with good grades. A pass in the science stream is highly advantageous.
  • Certified training in maintenance related works is a desirable educational requirement.
  • A diploma in doing practical maintenance projects from an accredited institute is a plus point.

Job requirements:

  • A minimum experience of one year in a reputed company in the department of maintenance of systems and facilities.
  • Must be possessing ample expertise in locating the technical faults in the systems and in equipment parts.
  • Should be proficient to immediately initiate the remedial measures to mend the technical defects of the machines tools and the equipments.
  • The candidate should be aware of the installation and operational processes of the machines and their various parts.
  • The candidate must be able to communicate and coordinate well with his/her colleagues as on many instances, the assignment needs to be completed as a team work.
