Law Student Requirements

A law student is one who is enrolled in a law college or the law department of a university for the purpose of attaining undergraduate or postgraduate degree in legal studies. A law student needs to know in depth about various tenets of the corporate law, social law and other related sub-fields of the stream. It is expected that a law student would take full advantage of the course modules and gain vast application based knowledge in this regards. The law student also needs to be focused on doing internships and different projects in the related to the stream.

Education Requirements:

  • A high school diploma in any stream with decent grades from a reputed educational institute is a must.
  • The concerned law student should be taken the SLET Test for getting enrolled in an accredited college or a university in the stream of legal studies.
  • While being enrolled in a college, the student who has got specific certified training from his/her alma mater would be in huge favor.

Job Requirements:

  • The law student must possess ample application based knowledge in the stream of legal studies.
  • The student should be able to follow the instructions and work within the regulatory framework of the particular educational institute to which the student is being enrolled.
  • The law student must be keen at taking active participation in various academic meetings and seminars for a deeper understanding of the subject.
  • Must be cooperative.
  • The law student should be able to write publishable papers centered on legal studies.
