A journalist has variety of work and important responsibilities as he has to collect the news, process it and broadcast it to all the people around the world through associated media. The main job duty of a journalist is to cover effective news with proper evidences and send it to the news room where the news is being processed and broadcasted to the people through news papers and electronic media. The function of a journalist always varies. To become a journalist following are the requirements:

Journalist Education Responsibilities:

  • Applicant should be a graduate in any stream with good English.
  • Post Graduation in journalism is required.
  • A candidate should have a journalist diploma or course.

Journalist Job Responsibilities:

  • Candidate should have excellent English and knowledge about local language.
  • Applicant should be able to go to field and collect adequate information from genuine resources and share the same with media.
  • Contender must be willing to work in night shifts.
  • Selected candidate has to submit the written content with immediate effect when he receives the news.
  • Applicant must be able to produce concise content with good stances and should write stories as well.
  • Applicant must be physically fit as the job profile requires lot of legwork.
  • Applicant should have an eye for details.
