They should also gather market information on the latest trends in terms of lifestyle changes happening in the market together with tracking the demographics of the target population. These people must coordinate with Marketing Communications, Product Marketing and Sales departments to create and deploy highly efficient online marketing programs, including blogs, email campaigns, co-marketing opportunities, SEM and online advertising.

Educational Requirements

  • A bachelor’s degree in Arts or Science with specialization in computer science, marketing, communications, advertising, or related field is needed.
  • Deep interest and knowledge in blogs, SEO, SEM, and business analytics can help the online marketing person to perform better.
  • He must have in depth knowledge about all the technologies applied for online surveys and marketing campaign.

Job Requirements

  • Must have experience on executing marketing campaigns on widely different scales using the power of internet.
  • Prior experience of 1-2 years is desirable but not essential.
  • The candidate should have excellent written skill along with the ability to manage various projects while being organized and motivated.
