Photography is more than just clicking photos; an imaging specialist touches up the photos in order to bring out the beauty or highlight certain features of a photograph. They know technical details of developing a photograph like adjusting the colour balance, setting shadows and other applications which make a photograph look more attractive and lively.

Imaging Specialist’s  Education Requirements

  • Most imaging specialists learn the work on the job but there are some courses available which teach the technical aspects of photography
  • Anyone interested can go for such vocational training and earn about the various chemicals and processes involved to specially develop an image
  • One may opt for art photography classes which teach about the camera, imaging programme etc and one can also go for graphic imaging classes available both online and in private institutes
  • A degree or diploma in web design also helps

Imaging Specialist’s Job Requirements:

  • Imaging specialists are often required to know about the technicalities of cameras, scanners, and other photography equipment
  • They must have illustration skills and an eye for color, tonal levels and graphic composition
  • They should know how to operate studio lighting and grip work
  • They have to work with various photography software like Strong Adobe Illustrator and Adobe Photoshop Skills etc
