Government Teacher’s Requirements

There are both private and public schools and colleges and a government teacher is a person employed by a public educational institute. The pay scale of government teachers is much less than private institutes, however, they are more secure and have a number of benefit programmes that the employees are entitled to.

Government Teacher’s  Education Requirements

  • Any government teacher requires at least a bachelor’s degree in Education or a master’s degree depending on the class that he is teaching
  • One may also have a general bachelor’s or master’s degree in a specific subject
  • There are a number of teacher training institutes which provide training required by educational instructors to make a syllabus, hold exams, set questions, and other teaching techniques

Government Teacher’s  Job Requirements:

  • A government teacher identifies, selects, and modifies instructional resources to meet the needs of the students
  • He must help in assessing if there should be any change in the curriculum and offer suggestions for improvement
  • He has to maintain effective record keeping procedures
  • He must provide a positive environment in which students are encouraged to be actively involved in the learning process
  • He must have good communication skills so as to communicate  with students, parents and school counselor
  • He has to correct copies, set examination questions etc

Thus these are the given education and job requirements for a government teacher.
