A Fire fighter trainee is an employee who has just joined the profession of a fire fighter. He learns the job responsibilities while being a trainee. The aim of a fire fighter trainee is to learn how to manage to save lives and resources when a fire has accidentally been caught. Since the damage caused by a fire can be far reaching and huge, the job of a fire fighter trainee is to immediately use techniques to put the fire off and rescue those people who have been caught inside the fire. Candidates who want to become a fire fighter trainee should necessarily have the education and experience with strict training. The following are the education and job requirements of a fire fighter trainee.

Education Requirements:

  • Candidates who want to become a fire fighter trainee do not need to possess a particular field of education as most of the employers provide on the job training.
  • Candidates should possess some necessary skills like having courage to face the fire crisis, calming people around and inside the fire, and having the confidence to be able to save peoples’ lives.
  • Candidates should also be physically fit and should learn the techniques of controlling fire from spreading and providing first aid techniques to affected people, etc.

Job Requirements:

  • The fire fighter trainee should be aware of all fire fighting techniques like containing the fire through water, etc.
  • The fire fighter trainee should know how to administer quick medication on the people who are affected.
  • The most important thing to consider if one wants to become a fire fighter trainee is the boldness and belief that one can save lives and one should also take care to relieve the people of the fear and stress created.
