- You can get a bachelor’s degree in economics, business administration, finance, accounting, financial planning, personal wealth management etc
- This can be followed by an MBA in finance, financial planning, financial analysis, investment management, business finance etc or one can also go for many certificate programs available related to these fields
- The subjects that one must learn about are managerial economics, the basics of finance and financial management and they are also taught about economic forecasting
What Additional Training Is Needed In Financial Advisor Training?
- During your MBA, you will need at least 30 credit hours where you will have to tackle case studies, business law, international finance, corporate finance and leadership studies
- Certification is required in order to become a licensed professional and for that you must take a few tests like the Series 7 exam and also pursue continuing education courses so that they can maintain their license after they get it
- They can opt for voluntary certification at the Certified Financial Planner Board of Standards
