Engineering College Requirements


Engineering college requirements are the set of academic prerequisites that a candidate must fulfill to become an eligible candidate for admission in an engineering college. Engineering colleges offer engineering bachelor’s degree in many branches, which one can choose according to his/her interest level, but for admission in any of these branches, high school diploma with mathematics and physics as the major subjects is mandatory. Engineering under graduation education programs generally possess similar requirements in the colleges all over the world because the curriculum of the colleges and work performed by engineering graduates is similar.

Most of the accredited universities which offer engineering programs organize an entrance test for the admissions and some universities give preference to the marks scored in high school.

What are the qualifying marks for getting into engineering college?

There are no specific cut-off scores for any of the courses in engineering colleges, but the institution clearly mentions that one has to be among the top ranking percentage of students to qualify for a seat here.
