The role of a disaster recovery manager is becoming more and more prominent, with every passing day. In times of such security, the disaster recovery manger is entrusted with the responsibility of ensuring the safety of some of the most sensitive information of the company which can make or break a company’s future. He basically monitors the policy of the company and ensures its integrity. Job openings for the position of a disaster recovery manager is very sparse, as because, the profile is a very important and company owners won’t easily trust a person with their future

Disaster Recovery Manager Educational Requirements:

Candidate should have a bachelor’s degree from any reputed institution

Candidates should have a masters or diploma degree in Disaster Management

Candidate should have some professional IT security certifications

Candidates should have at least 5+ years of experience in a similar field.

Disaster Recovery Manager Job Requirements:

Applicant should have a very alert mind and capability to monitor each and every information that is being transferred to and fro from the company’s network

Applicant should have strong knowledge about data administration and about management policies

Applicant should be open to innovative ideas that can enhance the overall security of the company’s database

Disaster management is a very important role and a candidate should be very responsible and well aware of his duties in order to do justice to his roles and duties.
