Customer Service Agent Requirements

Customer service agent serves the customers with their inquiries of telephone sales, tickets and making reservations. Customer service agents are appointed at booking offices and airports. They are hired to attend customer queries and handling complaints. This designation is very important and they attend the customers through emails, telephones, voice mail messages and sometimes face to face.  People who work in this job position should handle customers in a kind and tactful manner. Following are the education and job requirements of customer service agent.

Customer Service Agent Education Requirements:

  • A candidate should be a Graduate with good marks.
  • An applicant should have minimum eight months of training from a certified institution.
  • Additional qualifications in customer handling is preferred.
  • Post Graduation in management and Human Resources will be preferred over other candidates

Customer Service Agent Job Requirements:

  • Effective communication skills in terms of verbal and written are required.
  • Interested candidate should be able to handle the customer queries and able to work under pressure.
  • Applicant should be able to keep shelves and records related to customer complaints and job targets.
  • A contender who is able to handle high level customers or legal cases is welcome.
  • Desired candidate must be able to Coordinate and retrieve the customer queries.

Thus, by considering the given requirements, a company can appoint candidates as customer service agent.
