Certified Financial Planner Education Requirements


Certified Financial Planner (CFP) Education certifies the Financial Planners. This is a professional certification conducted by the Certified Financial Planner Board of Standards, Inc. (CFP Board). In order to work on this designation one must acquire relevant education, clear the examination, gain experience in this field and submit the certification fee. The duration of the CFP Certification Examination is 10 hours divided into 3 different sessions over a period of 24 hours and the test paper has multiple choice questions. The students are expected to have a thorough knowledge about the actual working of financial planning industry; they are given a case problem which is required to be resolved using the financial planning processes and procedures.
