A broadcast news analyst is a journalist, program host or news anchor who analyses a particular event, its causes and effects and sometimes moderates a panel discussion on the topic to be aired in TV news channel or radio station. There are some news analysts who write the content of the news, add an analysis of the incident, give a more all-round perspective to the viewers and listeners, present it on TV or radio and also interview other experts in that particular field.
