A bank teller works either in a public or in a private banking organization. He/she has huge responsibilities as most of the direct cash transactions with the general public occur via him/her. The bank teller has the task to record the details of the transactions taking place in any of the accounts of the concerned customer. The withdrawal or deposit of cash, matters involving checks, drafts and financial organization’s products are dependent on the operational ability of the bank teller. Education requirements:

  • Good documentation skills, recording the transactions in details.
  • Having a thorough knowledge of the financial products of the concerned organization.
  • He/she should lucidly and politely pay heed to the queries of the customers.
  • The person must carefully verify the relevant details of various transaction related documents.
